Keithley
Instruments announces the Model KPCI-488LP Low Profile GPID
Controller Interface plug-in board. A complement to
Keithley's precision measurement instruments, the Model
KPCI-488LP is economically priced, helping test engineers
to further lower their cost of testing and ownership. To
reduce switching costs, the Model KPCI-488LP's driver
library is fully command compatible with Keithley, Capital
Equipment Corporation, and National Instruments command
sets, making it plug-and-play compatible with existing
applications. Providing command compatibility protects
users' software investment and lowers their overall cost of
testing. The Model KPCI-488LP is a 3.3 V and 5 V PCIbus
compatible GPIB interface plug-in board. For customer
convenience, with the Model KPCI-488Lp, Keithley includes
both a full height and a half-height bracket for use with
newer, low profile PCS.
The Model KPCI-488LP provides complete software support for
Windows XP and 2000. Support will be provided for the new
Microsoft Windows Vista operating system upon its release.
The Model KPCI488LP also supports industry-standard
Virtual Instrument Software Architecture (Visa) libraries
to ensure compatibility with applications utilizing Visa.
The Model KPCI-488LP can be used in programming languages
such as Microsoft Visual Studio, .net, Borland C Builder,
Lab View, and LabWindows / CVl |
